What kind of a lunatic is Maggie?!

I mean, WTF?! She annoyed me to hell with her being constantly shocked that people could communicate with her mother. I mean, what's to get so shocked and nervous about?! Then she went ultra-crazy and said those awful things to her mother whom everyone else adored. Her mother is so right, Maggie thinks she is freaking princess. I was always willing to give chance to her but I guess I'm on the Maggie hating team now. A cardiotric surgeon with the mind of an 11 year old. She needs therapy.

"I violently dislike you."

I came on here to start a discussion about how gross Maggie was to her mother...but you beat me to it :o)

Maybe it's because my mother died when I was a teenager...And I would give ANYTHING to have her barge into my life...But I just found Maggie's while attitude toward her mother disgusting and it really made me hate the character...Whereas before I was merely indifferent.

Do grown women really act like this?! It was almost like watching a 13 year old...I kept expecting her to ask for a ride to the mall... LOL

What a grimy b*tch!!!!

And she is the one saying she has the best parents, I guess they don't have the best kid LOL

"I violently dislike you."

I wouldn't let her within 50 feet of my operation! Immature annoying baby.

reply

I think she's angry that her mother left her father but her behavior was terrible.

Sadly some grown women do act like that, my ex-wife and current girlfriend both have weird relationships with there moms. They both turn into different people when they deal with them.

But I did find this over the top though, he act like a spoiled brat but supposed to be a super star surgeon?

reply

umm. it makes sense that shes a spoiled brat. She skipped grades. was told she was amazing growing up. Shes an only child. It makes perfect sense that MAggie is a spoiled brat.

reply

Yes, they've already established she's super, super close with her parents.

I don't mind Maggie, I've gotta like someone to keep watching- there's not enough good characters.

I thought she was being immature about Riggs. Apparently she's just immature period. I don't really want to be a character hater (said the person who just mentioned how much they dislike Catherine  ) But it's become impossible for me to even like Maggie.

It's a soap opera. Of course there's ridiculous drama. Maggie's mom left her dad and is finally being who she's always wanted to be. This is obviously not who Maggie thought her mother was. If you can't understand her position be thankful. It means you've avoided being disappointed or let down by your mom. It doesn't excuse Maggie's behavior. She is quite immature and has a great deal of growing up still to do. But I understand where both women are coming from. They are hurting and need one another. Hopefully we will see them reconcile before the mom passes away. Then again, it is a soap opera...

As someone who has a rocky relationship with her mother, I get where Maggie was coming from.

A while back, she was pretty devastated that her parents divorced. Her mom might be living the live she always wanted and is able to be herself now, but Maggie didn't even know this side of her mother existed. She didn't know her mother was pretending to be happy and to like her life with her husband. It's jarring when someone suddenly changes overnight. Nothing wrong with trying to be you and find your happiness in life, but treat your kid like an adult and discuss it with her. Not just run off to hawaii. Her mom seems quite impulsive, just showing up without notice. Maggie is just not used to this new momma.

Maggie also had anxiety and fear about her mom meeting Weber and Grey and her mom just runs off and does it without her. Sure, everything turned out fine, but it could have easily been a disaster. Again, mom's being impulsive.
