Homeless imdb board resident here. Where is everyone? This board looks a lot like imdb and has the extra bonus of backed-up imdb conversations, but I don't see many people around...
Sorry for the OT - Grey's Anatomy was one of the last boards I posted in, so I thought I'd check here first...
so far, I am liking this board the best. I just think it will take awhile for others to find their way here. I did not hear of this site until the day before IMDB closed. I still cant believe they closed.
I'm here from IMDB as well; I didn't post much on IMDB but am making more of an effort on MovieChat now. What did anyone think of the latest episode? Personally Jo did my head in (as usual), I thought the whole transplant ethical issue was very interesting; it got me thinking... I was not very interested in Minnick/Arizona's 'spark' or whatever. I think Minnick has different & useful insights into teaching, but goes about it in completely the wrong way - it's like she has no idea how to work in a team, and doesn't care to learn either. It's frustrating to watch - the whole insubordination/training storyline could have been dealt with in a more reasonable, adult, way - by communicating like grown-ups... I miss the episodes where it was all about learning/doing new & cutting-edge medical procedures, where everyone was excited to get on with it. Callie/Derek/Cristina were great for that kind of thing - Amelia used to be but even then she was a bit OTT, for me. Now I have to rely on Jo/Stephanie/Bailey's husband (always forget his name) for that, and it's just not as enjoyable as it used to be. Still, I keep watching!
Minnick is the worst. She's all about getting the residents training but has no clue how to work in a team. Working as a team is such a huge part for this show. It really has changed since Mer and Alex became attendings. Personally I can't stand Jo or Amelia. Jo's scene felt really forced. And Amelia looks like she's about to fall off the wagon hard. What do you think of Jackson and April's relationship? Think they'll fix it eventually or keep them apart?
Ditto Amelia being OTT as of late, I was actually starting to wonder if the actress had a baby or something and this whole storyline was to give her some time off, it just seems excessive.
I hope this is home, it seems to be the best option! I was never very good about posting on imdb so I will try and be more active here. I miss everyone!
