I know this is just a movie, but I'm wondering if parents in New York City really give their 10-year olds that much freedom. I can't remember when I was first allowed to ride my bike around the block by myself. Gabe was allowed to ride all over a 9-block radius at age 10. Just curious.

It depends the parent its not just newyork parents even though when i was 10 i was allowed to ride around my whole neighborhood and i live in newyork maybe it was because my mom knew everyone and i was always with a friend
