Dont u think Rosmary lied to Gabe in the end??

All throughout the movie,she kept talking about how girls mature faster than Boys...But in the end,when Gabe proposes,she says maybe girls dont mature faster than boys..

But,I think she certainly knew this was an example of how girls mature faster...

Gabe was having a troubled family and wasnt getting the love he needed from his parents and he fell for the first girl he talked to in his adolescent life...

Rosemary could clearly judge that this was just a crush and given their social standards,they could never be together...and her life would bring her more "Blond Ashton Kutchers" than Gabes...

Its better to nip it in the bud rather than accepting now and then breaking his heart later.....

So Rosemary certainly was mature in handling this compared to Gabe

hah just kidding, but yeah, she definitely matured faster and she knew that.

Wow...you actually managed to make Little Manhattan look cold and dark. Of all movies, Little Manhattan lol. It's an interesting analysis, but I don't think it's true. Mostly because I don't want to.
