never in theaters?

yea thats true. This movie was in select theaters only in NEW YORK CITY and LOS ANGELES. It waz in the theaters for about a month. Then, It waz released on dvd about 3 months later and that iz wen it waz relesed everywhere(on dvd). If anybody knows were i can watch this flick on the internet plz reply

Yeah from what I heard it had a really limited run in NYC and LA for a few weeks. It all falls back to business potential. This was a children's film about romance, and everyone knows that if there's one thing kids aren't interested in it's romance. And it might be uncomfortable for young people to watch these things with their families sometimes. Because of these things, I don't think anyone expected this film to be very successful so they didn't bother giving it a wide release.

It's pretty amazing that people invested in this movie in the first place, though obviously it wouldn't require the same financial risk as something like Avatar or Star Wars. I'm glad someone did because this was a lovely film!

It seems to have become more of a cult classic if anything. Though I don't see a whole lot of dedicated fans to this day, it's still very fondly remembered.
