does anyone know why these films are called "august underground"? it's been bugging me for the past few days, and i'd really like to know. my apologies if this thread has already been posted

ya i read in an interview that fred vogel said he was gonna name it "peter" but that was too close to henry:portrait of a serial killer and at the time they were filming it was august... and its an underground film haha
