Fred Vogel, being a graduate from Tom Savini's special effects program, did an awesome job with makeup and special effects. I thought the blood and gore effects looked very realistic and the acting was done well too. Anyone else agree?

Screw that noise! I'd keep it for my own viewing pleasure! :-p haha. The disembowlment in PENANCE really grossed me out :-s Just watching Fred vomit made me wanna vomit.

He may have been a student at Douglas, but not in the Savini program. Fred is a great guy, and I am glad to see he is doing well.

yeaaaahh, that interview made me lose a bit of respect for Savini.
not only did they kick Vogel out because he was making things that were too sick, but there were also things he refused to do in Maniac, such as Joe Spinell biting off clits. wtf? that would have been insane.
