Is there hardcore sex in these films?

I discovered these films from online discussions and have read this forum for some description of what these films are, but I still don't get it. Is there real hardcore sex in these films? All the descriptions say "Woman tied to chair, gets tortured, rapped, sodomized, set on fire, etc." I understand these aren't real snuff films, but are they real sex films? Do the rape scenes consist of real sex between the actors? No one here has been clear on this.

I have not seen any of the director’s films, but I am fascinated by the underground simulated snuff film genre, because it seems to thrive completely on fan word of mouth. I should probably just watch one of the films to completely understand the genre.

Okay I'll be clear on it for you. The first two there is not. There is a *very* quick scene in the first where a girl plays with herself that is kinda graphic but not really that hardcore.

None in the second either but some crazy sexual situations, but not actual penetration.

I haven't gotten around to the third yet, but I highly doubt that does either.
*edit* - I have now seen the third and no graphic sex to be found.

If you *are* looking for actual hardcore in the scenes take a look at Amateur Porn Star Killer. The first one has some, but it is hard to see and very short, but the second one is VERY graphic.

There is nothing sexually hardcore about the August Underground trilogy. Howver, there is a scene in Scrapbook as well that would have granted it an X rating had it been submitted to the MPAA for evaluation.

I saw scrapbook and I'd like to know which scene do you mean. The one where the kid is touching his big sister or the one where the man is raping the girl?
