Does anyone actually LIKE this film?
i just thought id ask, not in an "oh how can you sickos watch this filth" moaning way but just as a film
i watched this film expecting a hell of a lot more gore and violence and seemed to spend most of it waiting for something to happen
dont get me wrong it did have its good points, i definatly agree that is portrayed very realistically and the acting was spot on to match the 'home video' style feel to it, which was also very realistic in how it jumped scenes (i suppose the only real noticable flaw is that whenever the main protagonist is punching someone you can blatantly tell he is pulling his punches)
however after watching this film i neither hated or liked it, it simply felt like a merit badge to say 'oh yeah ive seen that' the film was nowhere near as disturbing or gruesome as it had been made out to be
it is the sort of film that after watching it once, there is nothing to entice you to watch it again, unless you were showing it to someone else, there seems to be no replay value to it and no highlights that i could consider my favourite bit
as i said i neither hated it or liked it, ive just seen it, no more no less
