Just interested to hear what genuine fans of either the Vomit Gore or the August Underground trilogies have to say about which they prefer and why and the differences between the two.
This is for people who have seen both and have at least a little appreciation for either. Please don't just post that you hate them both. There's enough vitriol directed towards these films on imdb already.
I prefer August Underground, I bought the Vomit Gore Trilogy & just finished watching them, honestly, it was very gruesome & the gore & vomit is over the top, Vomit Gore Trilogy is not for me. I like films with a plot, not saying that Vomit Gore didn't have a plot, I know that Vomit Gore had the whole "Angela descending into hell" but it just wasn't for me.
August Underground had believable sociopaths & I like how it was straight forward with everything & didn't have those freaky hallucinations, however I will admit that I loved "Satan's perfect child" better then the August Underground films.
I paid a total of $200 for all films, its worth helping small independent underrated film makers like Fred Vogel & Lucifer Valentine.
