Sharona/'Coming Soon'

So, I'm rewatching the series from the beginning... I had missed the last few seasons for a variety of reasons I won't go into, but had watched the show pretty steadily for the earlier portion of it's run. So I'm rewatching season one currently and came across the episode "Coming Soon" (S01E05) and it occurred to me that the crime that Allison predicts in that episode is supposed to take place 7-10 years from that episode and the series ran for 7 seasons. Did they ever do a follow-up? Did the "Good Samaritan" return and Sharona ever find herself in the danger that Allison warned her about?

If not, I think it would have been a really cool idea to have returned to later in the series. The first episode had magnificent bookends with her dreaming about a case and then at the end, her actually sitting in the room and going through what she had dreamt about, so I thought it would have been really cool if they had done something like that again, just in a longer play.

I'm rewatching season 1 and that's exactly what I just thought.

Its mentioned in the episode that Ariel is 9 and in the last season she is at college so about 9 years have passed (although only 6 in real life). They definitely should have gone back to it.

I wonder if Shirona took her advice

I asked this same question two years ago. I stopped watching in season four, but ended up watching the last few episodes of the final season. (when I heard it was being canceled.) It seemed to me that they kinda lowered the tone of the show to an almost family friendly type show. But then again maybe that's just me. But anyways. The answer I received when I asked this was no, they didn't follow up on it. I totally think that was a missed opportunity for fans of the show. They could have gone either way with that story. But I'm sure the writers and producers probably just forgot about it. I just recently noticed that Imdb likes to bury posts nowadays. I went through my own posting history. Only to see that it's buried and gone. The new system on here makes no sense. I have a post from 2008 that's listed on the board for Confessions of a Sociopathic Social Climber but yet my own posting history only shows posts from 2011 and up. It makes no sense.

I forgot to answer the OPs question, no they don't ever go back to it.

Its also a shame that she's not proved right in the end, as she is in all the other episodes when the DA tells her she's wrong.

Maybe she scared him good enough and he never went full evil.

They could've used this as a follow-up in the final season, as well as the finale. It would've been a greater ending than the one we got.
