When people comment on this programme, why mention sci fi? This series is based on a real person. Look it up

The show takes it to a whole, crazy level though which can only be described as sci fi.

Because the real Allison is a proven fake who has never actually helped the police with anything... Look THAT up... She doesn't have dreams, she cold reads by scribbling gibberish.
