Did the girls know they were mediums?
When they were little, did they know? Is there an ep. where Allison explains it all?
shareI'm in season 5 and I've never seen her fully explain the stuff to them and the whole history. She instead occasionally says cryptic things like some types of dreams being more important than others or denying significance of them or asking Arial not to play mind reader games with her friends because it could make people just see her for that. It's supposed to be her way of "protecting" them but every time I have to imagine it's doing the opposite and confusing them, plus there are often rumors they hear at school about their mom. There's never any big full on clear discussion that they are all flat out psychics and exactly what they can do. At least, I don't remember one. I do sometimes play the Medium drinking game.
shareThere was one conversation in season 2 where she tells them that she knows things and dreams things and that the girls have a piece of that too and that they should not tell people at school because they won't understand or will be scared of them (the girls) or something along those lines.
So the answer is yes, she tells them and after that the girls start being less freaked out about it.
