Thay is what teenage girls do

I don't think so, she has a good heart and she's just a typical teenager, that's it. In fact I like her, she's cute and she keeps for herself instead of being, like you say, a lil' bit?h. I find her sister Bridgette's character (even if I like her) a little too "elaborated", sometimes what she says and her whole attitude lack naturalness IMHO. But it's a personal opinion of course.

By the way I'm starting season three and I love Allison-Patricia's new haircut; it suits her and she's really pretty with this short bob. Her hair is so beautiful, she has both, the color and the texture.

Ugh, tell me about it.

They indulge her every whim.

No wonder she grew up to be a brat...could be the kid. Just playing herself, I'm guessing. Most child actors don't have a ton of range.

I saw her less as "annoying" and more as having "oldest child syndrome".

As an eldest child, you do find yourself being easily irritated by younger siblings, especially when there's a big difference in personalities. There's clashes and fights over petty things...running to mum and dad over every trivial dispute...and the eldest are the ones who are most likely to see the parents as the authority figures and use them as default "referees" whenever a younger sibling is grinding on their nerves.

I know I did this, and now that I'm an adult all I can do is apologize to my mum for putting her through that for so many years, and thank her for her infinite patience.

People like to complain about how much they hate certain TV characters, but from my point of view it was a well-written, well-acted portrayal of someone who is the eldest, but for most of the series is still a child/teen themselves, so hasn't learnt to be totally tolerant and considerate of those around her yet.

One thing I like about Medium is that despite its supernatural themes, it has a realistic portrayal of family dynamics which allows the audience to suspend disbelief, even when the most unbelievable events are occurring.

...and that typically means there will be "annoying" children in the mix.

Even though some will disagree, I think it really added to the show in quite a nuanced way.

She reminds me of Iggy Azalea for some reason.

yes, grrrr, and grrrrrrrr re Arial...if they wanted her to be an annoying complaining selfish little bitch who also continually abuses her middle-sister, they cast her pretty well,...the Marcia Marcia Marcia hair-length, and eyes up as far as the mouth is down...

Nicky on blue Bloods tried valiantly to take votes off Arial as todays worst TV teen girl, but I'm not sure she quite cut it..Arial just has too many weapons in her arsenal..
