S7E4 Disgusting Slander of a good sheriff

It is clear who the sheriff in this episode is meant to represent; he is an Arizona sheriff who uses prisoners on chain gangs, & has them dressed in pink jumpsuits. Sheriff Arpaio is famous for dressing his prisoners in pink and making them work. And the leftists hate him because he upholds the law, including the law regarding illegal immigrants.

So the wonderful Hollywood writers decided to have a sheriff who does some of the things Joe Arpaio is famous for, and they decided to make him a murderer who killed a prostitute he had sex with.

It is a good thing this show was cancelled not long after this episode aired.

It was announced thar season seven will be the last one before it even premiered. That is why season seven was only thirteen episodes long. If you honestly think that episode had anything to do with cancelation you're a moron.

Sheriff Arpaio is a douche and an imbecil. His supporters are as stupid and incompetent as he is.

Yeah, that's the usual Hollywood MO. Fresh out of ideas? Bash conservatives! Heck Law and Order lasted another 10-12 years on that premise, at least Medium kept it to this one episode, although it was a special kind of ridiculous.

And whilst the 7th season may have been the last from the get go, I'm pretty sure the truncation was not expected, and they threw together the finale quickly.

From the very beginning, it was known that season seven would be final. It was renewed for thirteen episodes only from the beginning of new season, like "The Mentalist".

That's not true. After a few episodes aired it was announced that it would be the final season due to bad ratings and the season was actually renewed for 22 episodes but the order was cut to 13 when they announced the ending.
