Why can't House be a doctor again after faking his death? I always assumed you can't be a doctor with a criminal record. And maybe you can't in real life, I'm not entirely sure. But in the House universe, it seems like you can, because House and Thirteen were still doctors after going to prison. So after Wilson dies, why can't House just go back to jail and then be a doctor again?
shareProbably because Hugh Laurie has no interest in returning to the role ever and stated it took a toll on him in the end.. It was a satisfying ending and satisfying show that in real life, Dr. HOUSE would've lost his license after the 1st episode, if not malpractice, it would've been sexual harrassment.. The reboot would be titled HOUSE: The WOKE YEARS
shareI mean in the context of the story. In the last episode, Wilson says "you can never be a doctor again", and House doesn't disagree.
shareWell, if he came back and attempted it, he'd be flagged most likely and they would see his employment record and all the people he saved and chaos he caused in the process by doing things his way that in real life, Dr. HOUSE would've been gone after season 1.. I enjoyed the show quite a bit and binged watched it like 2 years ago
