this could have been expanded in so many directions. House getting a patient who has no emotions while he is trying to erase his feelings for Cuddy.
This patient goes through a transition that leaves the viewer wanting more to see if it's fake or not.
This would have been an intriguing episode, had
A). The show not run out of steam by S5
B). Had all of that Huddy shit not been even more contrived and unbelievable than Hammeron was earlier on

I realized as much. I'm simply pointing out that saying "this could have been expanded in so many directions" is a bit like saying that The Western half of The Roman Empire or The Abbasid Caliphate could've lasted into the 21st Century, and perhaps been the first humans to visit the moon. This ignores the fact that both dominions were marred by internal corruption and civil strife long before The Visigoths and The Mongols kicked in their respective doors. Same way House MD was already showing signs of exhaustion by time S5 had ended
