Touching Movie, moving performance by Hopkins

Really great film with a great story, one of Anthony Hopkins best performances: 7.5/10

yet you only give it 7.5/10?! C'mon!!! More! Great little film with equally great script and great acting. Hopkins is just about the most likeable guy on screen. It's currently on 8.0/10. I gave it a 10/10 :) I enjoy this film as much as anyother I can think of!

Not only touching, it's fun and uplifting and beautiful and endearing and Hopkins is not only moving he's inspirational and likable and believable. What's the matter with film studios these days, just want the BIG bucks, I guess, don't care about giving us something beautiful like this. Sure, there was "Little Miss Sunshine", but that didn't quite do it for me. I like action movies (some of them) and dramas ("Gran Torino"), but want more like this!

The Kiwi accent (and in particular the Southland accent) is hard to master for actors who are not from NZ, but Anthony Hopkins acted the part well enough. In a couple of scenes he eerily reminded me of my grandfather (yes I'm a kiwi) just by the way he was dressed and the little things he did. I was not expecting much from this film but I was pleasantly surprised.

Possibly one of his greatest performances. Wonderful.
