I thought it was pretty good, then I realized all the hidden messages.

He runs into a transgendered/homosexual and is okay with it.

He works for a Mexican as an illegal (Australian) alien. Reversal.

The Mexican smokes pot "for medicinal reasons".

He runs into a solider and promotes a anti-war message.

He cheats on his girlfriend in Australia with some girl he met on the road.

He uses sex in exchange for axle parts. Legalized prostitution.

Those were just the obvious ones, but I'm sure there are more.

Burt Munro was from New Zealand, not Australia. If you're going to badmouth the film, at least get your most basic facts right.

Woman wasn't his girlfriend just a hookup most new zealanders are more accepting than Americans. .....and im pretty sure soldiers rather stay home than go to a war
