I kinda drifted in and out at the end of the film. Louis strangles her but what is it that albert hears on the television regarding louis?

The news report was talking about Nancy being killed and the guy going to jail for it.
Fire. Walk. With. Me. ME.
It was one of the very few times where the person suffering dies and I thought it was the best ending for the the film. If the hired killer had saved her from her troubles. It would have been way over the top in the woman being rescued by the great guy and they lived happy ever after. Every one looses in the end. except for her tortured soul which was finally freed, at least that is what i think they were saying.

shareWhen I noticed it was a tape, I wondered how long after these events Albert is (still) watching it. And reading Nancy's emails. Maybe he does have some compassion for her, after all.
