This is the WORST movie of 2008.....easily

First off, the premise is absolutely ridiculous. A psychologist who has a personal bias towards rape/murder suspects would never ever ever be a credible expert in a murder trial. Any defense attorney, even a crappy one, would be able to poke holes in their testimony by establishing his bias and immediately discrediting him. This whole thing is so stupid. Even the bad guy is lame, nothing creepy or ingeniuos about his plan, that stupid repeating of "tick tock doc" stuck with me like a case of diarhea.

Secondly, the script and acting is ATROCIOUS. Both Alicia Witt and Lelei Sobieski (sp?) are so god-awfully talentless that I actually feel bad for them. Al Pacino hasn't been a good actor in over 20 years and this movie just doesn't lend itself to alleged "star power."

Terrible plot, terribly un-suspenseful, terribly acted, terribly paced, yeah, there is nothing redeeming about this story.

If you like this movie, I actually pity you. Yeah yeah everyone is entitled to their opinion, but anyone who likes this movie obviously doesn't know what a "good movie" is. Sorry.

Worst movie of '08? Ha not quite. What about Meet the Spartans or Disaster movie? I thought the movie was entertaining, it passed the time.

TO the OP:

Just another rant from someone who's viewpoint is entirely subjective. Yours is an opinion, nothing more. It's different if you say, "I THINK this is the worst movie of 2008," but like most opinionated people, you view your opinion as fact. I view this as a pretty decent movie and I appreciated the focus of psychology and giving the audience the ability to challenge their minds. Of course, based on your shallow view of the movie, I guess as always, that idea is wasted upon the likes of people such as yourself.

Matthew Lillard for Carnage in Spider-Man 4!
