Wow...so much terrible acting in one film...
Honestly the supporting cast was so bad I didn't even really think Al's overacting was that terrible.
Witt, Sobeski,McKenzie and Neal McDonough were all so awful... I started to suspect the three students were all in it together and I think what led me to believe this was because they were all terrible actors...
Did anyone else think the whole cast was beyond bad?
As I've said here before, I actually like this movie. That being said, the acting (except Pacino's) was very much below par. The FBI agent, the students, and everyone else were really bad in this. Others have said it, but Leelee Sobeski really messed up the movie's conclusion. You want a character like that to be dripping with evil and display utter derangement. (kind of like Jimmy Cagney saying "Top of the world Ma!!!") Now that I think of it, the guy who played the part of Jon Forster came across as being an arrogant smartass instead of playing the character as intelligent, calculating and very dangerous.
