How did killer interrupt a call in progress?


He's talking to his secretary, the line gets fuzzy, then it's the killer's voice all of a sudden. What the?

I don't even know why I'm asking this like it's the only problem with this mess.

Al Pacino seemed confused. Maybe he just didn't realize he was in a movie.

Couldn't tell you how it is actually done, but she is on a headset, he is on a cellphone. There probably are ways to push those signals off and replace them by yours. I would guess it is done at the headset side of the conversation, as it is more likely to be operating on radiowaves. Also the eventional killer had acces to it. I just think it is too bad they didn't do anything more with those abilities. Now it is just pointless...
