Orson Hodge

As most of people who watched the show know, Orson Hodge was originaly supossed to be a villain, but they changed it for season 3, because Kyle Maclachlan had great chemistry with the cast..now, i know that people are splitted on Orson as a character: they either like him, and hate what they did to him from s5 onwards, but especialy in s8, when that character was,essentialy, for everyone who liked him, him and Bree, was pretty much assasinated, not in a literate way, i don't know if he really commited suicide, and i don't it makes much of a diference, or they hate him from the begining to end,...I am one of those that really liked his character in s3 and s4, i do think that s5 jumped the shark with pretty much everyone else, honestly,including him..however, i heard wery recently, that the whole thing with him in s8,you kow, sending letters, stalking Bree, killing Chuck, was actually Maclachlan's idea, he wanted to play straight up villain Orson, i guess..and, considering that i think that s8 was a stupid, boring, convolute, contrived mess (if anyone loved it, great, feel free to disagree(, but, is there any truth to that? Is Machachlan to "blame"? Just for the record, i do like him as an actor(Twin peaks, Blue Velvet)
