I'm currently on season 4 and boy did things/stories fall a part. It's interesting when you rewatch a show after a while and you notice "new" things, though its you that's "new" so you notice things you wouldn't/didn't before.
Like how more annoying Susan is than from what I remember
What's up with Mike's house - was it remodeled? When Katharine moves in there's a whole other room on the other side of the stairs....but I remember a wall there before.
It really REALLY went to shit after each year.
Obviously caving into the demands of the leads.
They shoud have killed off a couple just as a warning not to become the greedy, unreasonable characters they were actually portraying.
Starting with Gabby. COMPLETELY phoney character. NO man would put up with that ridiculously written character. Ivana Trump of the subburbs. GTF out.
And the ignorance of Susan cant be ignored either. They could have an extended story about her daughter if only she wasn't such a lousy actress.
Like most all female leads the show became a competition for fashion and screentime and it resulted in tanking their careers as you can't escape the memories.
I loved it. I think it should have ended after season 7 though.
I'm currently rewatching the entire series, and am totally enjoying it again.
