Greatest ever film director

I love Terry Gilliam and loved his movie Tideland.
I think he is the one of the best directors in the world.
He chooses the concepts which are not what u are looking for the kind of cinema today, making 3d and cgi effects films(few exceptions) which are *beep*
the twelve monkeys was a different kind of cinema..
What i feel that the kind of director like him is cult,he is par beyond genius and will be remembered all through this humanity..
he is all together have different approach about cinema and its process which makes him unique.
all the best Terry Gilliam.

I was born that way,its useless that u trying so hard.

People will be talking about Gilliam like they talk about Lynch & Kubrick ....
I have a feeling that he won't be appreciated as such until after he passes though.

If there was a director's Mount Rushmore I would put Lynch, Kubrick, and Gilliam on it.

Gilliam is a genius. That word is thrown around and used too lightly, but in this case it's accurate. It's such a shame that he's struggled with funding and distribution so much over the course of his career; as a result we've missed out on more films from him that he should've been able to make. Thankfully almost everything he has been able to create has been fascinating.
