Just curious do they get together at the end i know its a kid's movie but i have a free pass to see it and no child to bring with me either way i'll still go and see it after all Gerry Butler will be a bit of eye candy to look forward to.
shareGo. Use your free pass. But remember what you said, "It's a kid's movie." If you go with that in mind, it's an okay movie. There are some funny bits in it and I even jumped a couple of times. I liked Abigail Breslin better in this than I did in Little Miss Sunshine. I thought Jodie Foster did fine with the comedy. And I'm a Gerard Butler fan, so he was a big PLUS.
Not gonna tell you the ending. But I will tell you that Wendy Orr has written a sequel.
REMEMBER: It's a kid's movie!!!!!

shareWell i've seen it and i enjoyed yeh they got together at the end i was hoping for that i really thought Jack was a goner. I also thought the Australian kid was going to be an anoying jerk that was a surprise he was'nt. All said i would probably go and see it again. P.S. Was'nt Gerry Butler hot in those glasses.

ridleybird, go see it. Gerry plays two characters in the movie and does a really great job. You'll enjoy it. Just remember it's a kid's movie.
I loved his relationship with Jodie Foster as her alter-ego Alex Rover.

Not much mention of Jodie Foster. She was GREAT in this movie. Her comedic timing was super. She really made this movie, in fact because she was in it is why I went to see it. Would love to see her more.
shareJodie was excellent and very funny in the part, I was just smitten with Gerry. I loved they got together at the end it was almost like they suited each otheir.It's not often i see Jodie Foster in a comic role she should play those type of characters more often maybe not so neurotic but funny pleasent characters. Maybe they should team Jodie Foster and Gerard Butler for some kind of Romantic Comedy that would be interesting to see.
