lizard

What kind of lizard is Freddy? My daughter asks. Loved him banging on the drums and flying thru the air.

CGI-saurus?

reply

i LOL'd!

the lizard's really cute, but the CGI got too distracting. and what's up with the impossible squawking!? i don't think ANY lizard could squawk... that's more like a cockatoo's job.

You need to go to the nearest pet shop and ask for a drum beating lizard. LOL LOL LOL

reply

The lizard looks like a "Bearded Dragon"...
I know someone who had one for a pet for many years...cute!

Freddy is a bearded dragon. Abigail said she loved working with them.

I love when Jack (Gerard as dad) hisses at him and he hisses back. I also loved his 'dancing' on the drums - very cute.

Was a nice pleasant movie - and the animals were fun to watch.

Def a bearded dragon. :) I have a cute little baby dragon myself. They do hiss when upset and are very affectionate (as lizards go), but I have to say that I have never seen a squawking one...

reply

Definitely a bearded dragon. They make wonderful pets. So cute, and very, very patient.

Bearded dragon, it's one of the most commonly kept pet lizards in the world, along with leopard geckos

reply

Bearded dragons don't hiss or bark or whatever the one in this movie does. They just kind of snort occasionally.

I have two bearded dragons, they do hiss. They also puff out at the neck when bothered which makes them dark under the chin and makes them look like they have a beard.
No I have never heard either one of them squawk!!

reply

You might have a particular species I haven't seen. My girlfriend has two of the damn things—one Pogona vitticeps and another kind—and I haven't heard either them make any noise except exasperated huffs/wheezes.
