Spider?

I saw on the plot-keywords that a spider was mentioned. And it has kept me from watching the movie, even though we've bought it on blu-ray. How much is the spider part of the movie? Is it in many scenes all over the movie, or in just one?

After seeing Jungle 2 Jungle with Tim Allen a couple of years ago, with some close up shots that have given me life long nightmares, I want to avoid any movie with spiders. I can handle it when it's as short as in Spider-Man, and I can just look away for a few seconds. But when they are big and ugly, and they do close up shots, no way!

I cant think of any spiders in the film at all. I can think of sealions, turtles, lizards, a pelican i think. No spiders. Unless im having a mental block.

Well, if you're still here on this board, and you haven't already seen the movie because of the spider thing, the spider is one little scene when we first meet Alexandra in her house when she's busy writing her next Alex Rover adventure, and a little spider is seen making its way up to her computer. The scene is about one to two minutes, and funny and cute. (No -- nothing happens to the spider!)

right... REALLY hate spiders... and I nearly jumped in my seat when I saw it.

luckily the spider scene as short...

people expect way too much
