Movies with kids on deserted islands

I've seen this, Lord of the Flies, The Beach, The Blue Lagoon 1 & 2.

What else is there?

reply

I somehow don't remember Leo and Brooke having fun with iguanas and sea lions.

Thanks for answering my question?

Perhaps leaving kids stranded on an island is a new way of learning your kid to explore the world and learn not to get lost?

I found it weird that no-one knows about the doctor and his daughter but they seem to have e-mails on deserted island these days, maybe that's the new catch that differs from the Blue Lagoon legacy.

Either way it's crap, it's like these actors learn their lines 1 day before shooting. No emotion nothing, sad actually for a fairy tale.

the hell you talkin about? Nim was a very emotional character

The movie "Shipwrecked"(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099816/) was a great one from when I was younger.

Also check out:

"Swiss Family Robinson" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054357/)

"The Black Stallion" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078872/)

"Treasure Island" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0043067/)

or "Treasure Island" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100813/)
With pre-fame Christian Bale.

"The Last Flight of Noah's Ark" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081031/)

Not a deserted island, but a desert:
"A Far Off Place" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106868/)

These are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head, ones that I
enjoyed in my youth. Hope this helps.
