Naruto and HInata relationship?

Do you think they could have developed a better relationship between them during the series?
And I don't say that they had horrible chemistry and their relationship was forced, I actually always routed for them since the Chunnin exams, but I really felt their relationship was pretty rushed.

I know love is not the main theme on Naruto but I think that they missed some great oportunities in both character development and character relationships other than Naruto and Sasuke, Hinata always remained as a secondary character and had some cool NaruHina moments like on the chunnin exams, pain's invasion or in the battle against the juubi, those were some of my favorite moments of the series but appart from that not so much buildup to their relationship and while I didn't hate the last movie, it felt pretty cheesy and corny, like watching a movie for chicks

what do you think? would you have liked more build up to their relationship instead of few moments and create their relationship in the last moment_

Kishi half-add it like he did many other aspects of the series.

I would have liked them a hell of a lot more if they even went on one little mission together (fillers don't count). Hinata was just too underdeveloped to be likable let alone interesting at all. I still have no real problem with them, I mean, at least Kishi's lack of writing her didn't ruin her character (like it did SOME pink haired female lead I know). It's the SS ship I can't stand.

Sorry, gonna change my answer a bit here.

Yes, I would've liked to have seen more interaction between Naruto and Hinata in the manga, however, I don't think their relationship was at all rushed. There's a difference between "romantic development" and "physical interaction", and while NaruHina may not have gotten a lot of physical interaction in the manga, it did have more build-up and development than most of the other canon pairings in the manga (although, to be fair, I think SasuSaku had the most manga development out of all of them).

Also, I don't think NaruHina really needed The Last to make itself canon, but I'm still probably gonna see it anyway. 
