It looks like that yes indeed, Orochimaru is the main villain. He's created a blonde Uchiha experiment test subject. He must be the guy under the hood.

The glasses Salad is wearing are supposedly Karin's since they look the same and she has no birth certificate and no one is telling her how she was born.

I read something a few days about how Orochimaru used Sasuke and Karin's DNA to create a new being and that this being was Salad. She wasn't born, she was made and Sasuke protected her.

The Mitsuki kid is from another village but he still seems strange.

Looks like Naruto, Kakashi and others are gonna meet up with Sasuke to deal with this new threat and Salad and Choucho are gonna secretly tag along.

Oh, and the Gaiden universe has Phones now supposedly lol. They got laptops so phones make sense too.

Anyone remember that weird thing that came out around the time spoilers for the last were coming out about Karin protected Sakura and/or Sasuke and they named Sarada after Karin's middle name?

I wonder if any of this was actually about this gaiden. I really get the feeling Karin is dead or something.

This whole DNA thing is weird enough as it is, I don't think there are TWO Uchiha experiments.

I'm 99.9% sure the kid is Sakura's. Especially with Chouchou making silly comments referencing how it is such hot speculation. The chapters are like a mockery of the fanbase.
