In the movie Last Holiday, Georgia is continually telling people to watch their mouths when they get close to cursing/just after. For example, when Darius is in her kitchen and then Kragen when on the ski slope. Why, when she's always so against foul language, does she tell Ms. Burns that Kragen will have a s***ty fourth quarter?
That's seems a little out of character to me.
Well she lived her whole life playing it safe and when she thought she was dying, she realized that it didn't pay off too much...and here was this guy who she worked for, she was the best, and she had up and quit, and he was a lousy guy to begin with, so add it all together, yeah, she really would say it most likely.

shareNo, Im sure Georgia said it in her own words and Ms. Burns relayed it in hers. She always said 'sugar' in the movie. The most she ever said was damn and it was used mildly in passing. When Kragen used it it was deliberate and forceful. Same way hell can be inocuous but a 'curse/swear word'. But Im sure Georgia most definately did not say *beep* fourth quarter' in those words.

If you watch the movie again on DVD, I can guarentee that you would see (hear, really) her saying that precise word. It's in the hotel lobby, before she goes to her room? Take a look.
Yeah, it's a little out of character, but I won't hold it against her. Wonder why they wrote it that way, though...
shareOut of the great any many flaws of this movie, you chose that one to nitpick about? How about that fact that the acting was terrible, the story line was something a sixth grader could have come up with in their sleep, and the writing was absolutely atrocious. Need any more suggestions?

It wasn't all that bad in my opinion. Usually I don't hold much with remakes but I liked this one. It was humorous in parts I thought, though it was a bit slow on the uptake. There has been worse done to remakes and this wasn't the worst by far.
maybe becuase she's seeing someone she used to work for and dicides enough is enough, and because she know that he has no reason to be smug.
