There was soul in this movie and it didn't rely on cheesiness or campiness too much. I felt honest emotions in this story and the writers really got the point across on what it means to not put your life on hold. Liked this one a lot.

This movie just seemed like a tired and predictable retread of a million movies I've seen in the last 20 years, only different because the leads were African American.
