Question about upscale restaurants
Hey everyone just a random question...do restaurants like the one in Last Holiday and other upscale retaurants require reservations or walk-in as long as you are dressed correctly?

You are, undoubtedly correct. (My personal experience with upscale restaurants on that level is nil.)
Remember, too, that this restaurant was in the hotel. The scale of guest she was, they'd have done everything they could to accommodate her. (And who wouldn't? Queen Latifah is a beautiful person, inside and out.)
I they are full then you need to have a reservation, if they are not then you do not need one.
Generally it would be wise to reserve a table, ask them about dress code at the same time.
