The secondary actors

My husband and I absolutely adore this movie. It would be downright embarrassing to admit how many times we have watched it. Aside from the superb main cast, we find that we have some very fond feelings for many of the secondary actors. My favorite "good guys" are Werner Richmond as the Reverend (love his cute earnest kindness); Jane Adams as Rochelle (she is a total crack-up); Mike Estime as Marlon (a brief but very funny appearance); Jascha Washington as the epicure with an attitude, Darius; Ranjit Chowdhry is amazing as the deeply caring and conflicted Dr. Gupta; Lucie Vondrácková was touching as the soft-spoken, sweet and empathetic front desk clerk, Marie; Lana Likic as the sweet, smiley dress shop salesperson; Ellen Savaria who very professionally made the most of her role as the virtually mute Mrs. Stewart by staying in character throughout with looks and smiles and gestures; Petr Vanek as the honest, philosophically insightful, and stylishly coiffed Felipe; Lucie Brezovská was adorable and perfect as Brigitta; Alban Klose who, judging by his credits, is not a professional actor, was funny and fun as the base jumping instructor with braces; and I don't know who played Arturo, but he was perfect as the ever-attentive, ever-present, totally business-like ("what ceiling?") always on the ball concierge; Kyle Pecoraro was adorable as the kid on the plane.

In the secondary actors' "bad guys" department, I love Matt Ross as the mindless and ruthlessly-loyal-to-the-Kragen-cause Adamian. He never missed a beat and managed to convey all his negative characteristics with just the slightest hint of vulnerability underneath that driven exterior, which made me feel very conflicted about his character - in a really good way; Julia Lashae was perfect as the cold as ice, hard as stone HMO administrator; Randall Sims was great as the officious, condescending, smirking, and thoroughly annoying flight steward; Camille Hunt was well cast as the snooty dress shop salesperson; Susan Kellermann was fun and amazing as the nosy and pessimistic Fraulein Gunther, who turns out to have a heart after all. She really carried her scenes superbly and became one of my top favorite characters on there. The cool score that backlit her turnaround did not hurt her chances either.

I feel that all these amazing actors deserve special recognition for helping to make this movie such a wonderful and entertaining tale.

Let me guess, you love this movie!?! lol.
Me, too. I thought it was well-done, fun. And predictable, yes, but that made it enjoyable.

Oh, and I was so trying not to let on... :)) It really is a great, fun movie. So what if it was predictable, right? Who needs to work up a heart attack every time they sit down for a flick...
