It's ok
This film is entertaining in some ways, and in other ways it isn't. It was really promising until the reveal. The subject of loss and bereavement can drive you to unspeakable lengths. However, the reveal ruined it, and it just became generic and kind of silly.
The acting overall was very good. Jodie did really well. Peter Saarsgard also did well with what he was given.
It could've been so much more, but in the end, the reveal made it into a flat pudding.
