Peter Sarsgaard was so fucking bad in this

Could the guy have appeared any more sinister? His constant squinted gaze and cold line deliveries made him seem evil from the very moment he appeared onscreen. It's just so unnatural and awkward. I actually found myself cringing whenever he would speak onscreen. It's that bad.

Yes, I noticed this too. It's one of the big hints that he's the villain. He was even more terrible when he was stupid enough to let his guard down. I truly think that he is a complete psycho. It's a shame that we recieved no backstory on Carson and no emphasis for his desire on $50 million.
