Flightplan (2005)

I remember I saw Flightplan back when it came out, back-to-back with Red Eye. After a few years, I have finally rewatched it. It is not as god as I remembered it, probably because back then I was not very open to a film's flaws. Now I am. Well, the film does have some nice cinematography, as well as some interesting scenes and interesting premise. However, the film becomes very predictable as it goes along, and it has so many unrealistic elements to it that it infuriates you. The film itself is not very good, and neither is Jodie Foster. You would think she would hold the film together, but her performance becomes very over-the-top as it goes along, although she does have some good scenes. Overall, the film is very flawed, but it is enjoyable and it does it's job in a way, although not completely satisfying. Wes Craven's Red Eye is a better film all the way
6.5/10

I cannot understand how anyone could NOT spot the flaws in this movie. They were quite blatant. It is impossible on any intellectual level to think that this plot was in any way plausible.

It is possible that no one saw the little girl as dipicted in the film, but for godsake you cannot PLAN it!!! Whether you were looking or not, how on earth did you miss that?????

Yet there are many, many, many films out there that hinge upon the fact that it's a movie.
