question about proof Julia boarded the plane

The captain clearly looked at Julia's passport when he was called out by the air marshall to take care of the situation when Kyle said she was missing.

When people go through customs when arriving and leaving a foreign country, their passport is stamped with both a entrance and exit stamp along with the date of each action. Couldn't the captain have simply looked in Julia's passport and noticed that an exit stamp was applied to her passport that very day of the flight?

LOL...true that!

There's no way an airport or captain would F up that bad about finding a kid. They'd just ask if she boarded. You don't need a pass, you call the tower and tell them they need to get ahold of flightops and look it up.

Take a look at the thread "28 Major plot holes - please add others" at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0408790/board/nest/142190530.

Just one more plot hole among many others in the film.

The film is still enjoyable; just don't think too hard about its plausibility.
