Ending..... (spoilers)

The ending was really pathetic... as she emerged from the plane with her daughter.. cringeworthy
but, I have a question: why she needed to use the bomb? she was safe with her daughter (behind closed doors, away from the bad guy, who was in the room with closed doors)... she could just exit the plane without destroying such a big aeroplane.. it was not necessary.. or am I missing somehting?
Another question: why the bad guy needed to catch her or kill her? It would be enough to lock her to the room where she found her daughter, then exit a plane, tell everybody, that she is inside and will use the bomb... by the time everything would be cleared, the bad guy would have enough time to escape... again, am I missing something?

at the end, why there is no ambulance for the daughter?

I really like Jodie Foster, but she was sooooo annoying in this.... I know its bad, but I was really cheering, when the Arab guy knocked her out:)I would do it myself, if I was on this plane (people in hysterics need to get a slap to calm down, its proven)

and my last question: If she was on medicine,(because of her husband) it would be probably some sort of sedatives.... she would be lethargic and calm after this kind of medicine, no way she would act like hyperactive hysteric, running and screaming
