Bill and his henchmen

Like seriously, I'd love to know how they came to meet. Like, did Cox go to like an anonymous chatroom looking for a few good men to pull off the perfect crime? Did they perhaps meet at a local Seattle pub and discuss it over drinks? Then what? Perhaps hit up RadioShack or the local black market to buy the needed equipment: cameras, computers, data transfer things, GUNS?

Not to mention the Hungry Man meals we saw Pim stockpiling in the fridge: like imagine these guys, driving a vehicle full of illegal equipment, stopping by your local Save Mart, and buying every Hungry Man in the store? I mean can you imagine these hardened criminals shopping like normal people, while planning to kidnap and later murder innocent people?

I'm not saying it's a bad movie, in fact I love it, but this entire scenario is just too ridiculous to take the film serious at times.

I think he was using them just like Jack and his family. They probably didn't know each other on a personal level. They were just criminals that got together to simply perform a crime. Beth has good reason to warn them that Bill might kill them as well when they've served their purpose for him, even though we don't know for a fact that he saw his men as loose ends. He may have just paid them some money he saved over before the crime to keep them quiet.
