The main problem with this movie is Johnny Depp can't sing his way of out a paper bag.

For me, the main problem was the sound editing as pertaining to the excruciating volume differential between the loud musical numbers and the barely audible mumbling, whispering that made up much of the dialogue scenes.

Depp and Rickman were outstanding. Great flick.
