Who else thought Felicity Huffman looked hot in this movie?

Actually, I didn't know it was Felicity Huffman playing Bree. I thought it was a man in female clothes and makeup. They did a mighty fine job making her into a man that becomes a woman.
shareThank you for admitting that you didn't realize a woman was playing Bree...that's how amazing her performance is...you don't for one minute believe it's a woman, do you?
shareFelicity Huffman is absolutely gorgeous. And she really didn't look bad in the film. I thought she looked the best the scene after they had their car stolen and she was without the make-up and her hair pulled back.
The old dreams were good dreams; they didn't work out, but I'm glad I had them.

I agree with FlickaHuffmanFan. Felicity is beautiful. I thought she was adorable in Transamerica. Not ugly at all. Bree was so undeniably sweet that I couldn't help but fall in love with her, exactly the way she was. She really did look pretty when she was at the bar after their car got stolen and her hair was pulled back, I agree. I felt like I was watching a real person and not an actor. That's how amazing Felicity is.
shareI saw her in an episode of desperate housewives yesterday and she never ceases to amaze me, she really is gorgeous but she is sooo unbelievably talented...

Felicity Huffman looks fabulous, hands down, period.
That's not to be mixed up with the character she played. Bree didn't look GREAT at first sight, not ugly though imo. But as the story went on I sympathized with her a lot and really loved her at the end. And that's when I wound up even fancying her - Bree is beautiful from the inside and becomes more and more beautiful throughout the movie, as her personality develops. I was quite sad acutally that Bree was not a real-life person to form a friendship with! ;-)
Props to Felicity though for having the courage to play a character that could be perceived as unattractive by parts of the audience - "pride in being ugly" when playing a role is important to be a great actress.
Bree was an unattractive person at first. Terrible fashion sense, hideous makeup and very odd features. How no one besides the child asks her what gender she is and everyone instantly takes her for a woman is beyond me.
Towards the end, though, she is quite pretty. When the car is stolen and she ties her hair up with the kerchief, wipes the garish lipstick off and takes off that bulky jacket, she looks quite sexy.

I'm a straight guy and yes, I think she looked HOT, but also classy, elegant, mature and self- assured (even if the character was deeply insecure and vulnerable).
