That is correct.
I was fortunate to see the musical at MSG for each of the last 5 years, excepting 2001, and it became a warm holiday tradition for us. The scenes were great, the music very touching, and each year the star playing Scrooge brought a different quality to that character. I am anxious to see what K. Grammer and J. Alexander brought to Scrooge and Marley's Ghost respectively. There is a cd recording and songbook available of the music done by one of the MSG casts which is well done. I had thought that it would be my only memory of this show as last Christmas was announced as the final year for it; I am looking forward to see its return each year secured in this filming.
