Tim Robbins?

I'm not quite sure I understand why Tim Robbins would even consider appearing in this movie. Not that the movie was terrible or anything... but it is a little beneath him. Did he do it as a favour to someone?

Well, if you look at his history, it doesn't make any more or less sense than taking a cameo role in Anchorman.

I get the impression he just does roles he thinks he'll enjoy. It's not like he needs the paychecks at this point.

He had one PHENOMENAL film (probably my favorite of all time), but it made jack diddle at the box office. When you said he has no problems with money, I would re-think that!!! He is certainly not poor, but not as rich as you think, either!

How about a bit of ultraviolence?

I laughed for about 10 minutes when I saw Tim Robbins in this movie. I agree, it is definitely beneath him.

He was hilarious in his role. It was a great role and Im sure he had fun being in the role. So why wouldn't he take a role that's fun, short, and gets paid for it?

although Tim robbins is a great actor(i think very highly of him), it has been know that he can make some *beep* carrer decisons from time to time(nothing to loose...okay i can't think of anymore at the moment). much like mr Walken.

I tend to think of Tim Robbins' role in Zathura as being just about the best I've seen of him since The Hudsucker Proxy and Howard the Duck.

I look forward to as many more "phone-in" roles for him as can be managed.

I don't care what work he chooses to take as long as he keeps his screen time to a minimum and his politics completely off the screen.

TOUGH *beep* Mr Robbins IS 100 % entitled to his opinions and TO EXPRESS THEM ANY TIME HE WANTS TO and if you don't like that TO *beep* BAD then LEAVE the united stated snd don't let the door hit you and aslo DON'T bother returing either
