Is it me, or is this house gorgeous!! I love the Art Deco style of this house. The warm, wood colors in the living room-- the hardwood floors. Did you see the painted blue door and wood trim in the boys' room? Stunning!!

I did love the house. I feel that this style house is used a lot in hollywood movies (I cant think of any other examples though), the porch roof seems very familiar.

shareI understand this topic is stale but wanted to add a little to it. FYI, the home style is arts & craft although I suppose it could also be considered craftsmen style. What's so interesting and beautiful about the woodwork is what's called a "cloud lift." It requires considerable more time, labor and material but the look is unique. I just rewatched the movie again specifically to enjoy the home.

shareI hate this style of house. It's the "crafts" style and you see it a lot in movies and TV. Isn't this the same house they shoot "Numbers" at?
Can't stand all that wood, wooden floors, wooden everything. Not comfortable.
