Why didn't Dortha know the winning Beech Nut sandwich jingle?
They made a commercial out of it, didn't they?
It's been a long time since I read the book, so I don't remember if that was mentioned in it. I'm thinking maybe the movie messes with the timeline? Maybe the commercial with her winning jingle is shown to us, the viewing audience, out of sequence and it really hadn't aired yet in real life when Dorotha asked that question? If that makes any sense.
