Shot part of the movie on my street

They filmed alot of the house scenes on my street in Oshawa Ontario, and I do have to say that although someone made a comment about Woody needing his trailer near by and wanting special stuff....He did not ask for all those things here, and when we talked with him and Julianne Moore they where both very nice and considerate people.

I'm from Defiance and I was interested to know from someone at the Canada location if they had to do much changing to make it look like a '50s neighborhood? It's pretty cool and exciting that you got to watch the movie from that perspective! We were actually pretty disappointed that they didn't film some of the movie here in Defiance (especially since the Ryan home(s) still stand).
