I was watching the credits and it said something about in memory of Jeremiah Shane Ryan 1982-2004, and I was wondering who this is.

Jeremy is one of Evelyn Ryan's grandsons. He died the week before they wrapped up the shooting of the movie. His father, Dave "Bongo" Ryan, heroically came to the set to appear with his brothers and sisters in the final scene of the movie just days after Jeremy's death.

How did J.S.R. die? Loved the movie! Painfull watching the drunken husband scenes - as I was a drunken husband myself. Vicious cycle, that.

Well it's not related to the movie but since you used the past tense, I just want to congratulate you for your efforts toward moving out the this vicious cycle as you have well said it! It must be a very hard thing to do but it is one accomplishement you should be proud of. I wish you the best of luck! ;)
